OpenMax

OpenMax will close all Maxthon processes if Maxthon doesn't close them by itself. After that it will open Maxthon again. Use it if you want open Maxthon without closing running processes first!

If you don't want to see the information message about closed processes, edit the setting.ini file that will be created in the same directory as OpenMax. If you set the 'Msg' to 0 no message will be shown. If the name of your Maxthon process isn't maxthon.exe you may change it in the settings file too.

ActiveXDeprompter

ActiveX Deprompter will close the useless prompts that warn that the page may not display correctly when ActiveX is off.

To adjust the ActiveX Deprompter to only close the useless prompts please edit the setting.ini file that will be created in the same directory as this program the first time it's run, if necessary. Make sure the 'Text' value is exactly the same as the prompt text that show up on your system.

You may use readymade setting files specially made for each language. Rename the chosen setting file to setting.ini to make it the active one.

You may also set if the task bar icon should show or not. If you set the 'NoIcon' to 1 no task bar icon will be shown.

Default is to look for the text for an English Internet Explorer and to show the icon. Restart the ActiveX Deprompter to use new settings.

CloseMax

CloseMax will close all Maxthon processes if Maxthon doesn't close them by itself.

OpenWithMaxthon

 - Version (1.0) for Maxthon

Will add an "Open with Maxthon" context menu option that will open the link in a new Maxthon window/tab, for use in some programs that are hardcoded to use Internet Explorer (e.g. PopPeeper).

OpenFrameinNewTab

 - New version (1.0) for Maxthon

WHAT IS IT?
The file Open_Frame_in_New_Tab_Installer.vbs will add an "Open Frame in New Tab" context menu option that will open the frame in a new Maxthon window/tab.

USAGE:
1. Install it.
2. Restart Maxthon
3. Right-click on a web page (preferably a page with frames)
4. Choose "Open Frame in New Tab" form the context menu
5. The frame will open in a new tab in Maxthon

TO INSTALL:
1. Run Open_Frame_in_New_Tab_Installer.vbs
2. Follow the instructions

TO UNINSTALL:
1. Go to Windows ordinary "Add/remove program" control panel.
2. Choose "Open Frame in New Tab for Maxthon" and click "Remove".
3. Follow the instructions
4. Open_Frame_in_New_Tab_Installer.vbs will now remove the "Open Frame in New Tab" folder and all registry keys created on install.

KNOWN ISSUES:
None so far. Tested on XP.

TECHNICAL DETAILS
Open_Frame_in_New_Tab_Installer.vbs will create a folder called "Open Frame in New Tab" in Maxthons plugin folder and add a file called Open_Frame_in_New_Tab.htm, and also copy itself there.
It will also add two registry keys. One at HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt\Open Frame in New Tab\ and one at HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Open Frame in New Tab for Maxthon\.

All files and registry keys will be deleted on uninstall.
